I am going to bump this....tried to check all settings last night in car (on radio) and on iPhone itself and no dice...no settings for contacts....

I'd really like my contacts to work...

I have a 3G iPhone that has the latest version of iPhone software what ever that is. Go to settings/general/bluetooth, turn it on then choose the Sonata device by clicking on the arrow to the right of the screen. There you will find several choices on how to handle contacts. If you have groups you can choose to pair only certain groups or all. I am not sure how to do groups so I just pair all. It seems to take no time at all to pair up in the car and have the back up camera working. Others are reporting long wait times to get the phone paired, that has not been my experience with the iPhone and the Sonata. Hope this helps.

thanks for the help..found what you stated after I posted that message....my car is outside in the parking lot BUT I haven't tried it yet...although it seems by default all my contacts are selected and my list is maybe 60 deep if that many...and none of them sync or give me an option to in the car...my phone works fine thru bluetooth AND I can stream Pandora via bluetooth just fine ??????
