Okay so I have the Infinity system upgrade and while it may not be some high end aftermarket system I've been pretty pleased with it, but something that has been bothering me the last few days is that my volume output seems to have dropped, I remember reading someone mentioning a similar issue but I can't find the thread for the life of me.

The vehicle is fairly new, only have about 1500 miles on it, and maybe some would say the speakers just broke in, but I don't see how that relate to volume output. When I use to adjust the volume to about 20, it was pretty loud and 25 was the max I would turn it to because it was defining at that point. Now I find i have to turn it to about 30 just to get it on the loud end, I'm worried if it's an issue with the amp or is it just break-in?

Have you changed any of the Audio settings?

The one I'm thinking of specifically is the speed-based volume setting?

Yeah that was one of the first things I checked, everything is still the same, and the volume leveling for the speed is set to off.

I would have it checked. Sounds like your amp may not be turning on or boosting power??? Who knows. I know it is relative, but if I go over 18-19 on some songs, it's getting pretty loud, and my hearing ain't what it used to be.

If you haven't already, I would turn off the "virtual surround" setting - not only does it sound like crap, but it does limit the sound coming from the rear speakers...
Just a thought...
