I may use my 2011 for things you wouldn't normally use a Santa Fe for. Carting around pinball machines and organs and stereo consoles seems to push my little wagon to it's limits, bottoming out the rear suspension pretty quickly. I was wondering if it would be possible to beef up the rear suspension, possibly with the rear coils from a Veracruz, since it has a 500 pound payload advantage over the Santa Fe. Would they fit? Anything else I could do? Buying a different vehicle is not an option :)

Airbags are the only game in town for the Santa Fe. They fit inside the coil, and you pressurize them for added capacity. I have them for my '15 Ram 1500 and they work great to prevent the butt from squatting under load.

(ignore the main picture with all the brackets and what-not, the Santa Fe only gets the blue airbags that fit inside the coil spring)
