I Got A Boo-boo

I was driving home on the williamsburg bridge and the car in front of me picked up a small 2ft. by 2ft. piece of plywood and wouldn't you know it, it smacks my bumper. Broke the bumper and knocked out the fog lamp. Not having a good day. :rant2:

Damage is not so bad but still gonna lose my car for a week getting it fixed.

I hope you burned that piece of wood back to **** where it belongs. Im sorry to hear that about your new baby... hopefully it gets fixed soon!

Thanks. Funny thing is after I hit it I said to myself, "that was a close one."
I didn't even think it did anything.

ouch that sucks since you can't do much about it. Had a semi tire blow off and roll back at me on a buys highway and I had to take the hit right on the hood. Sucked but not worth trying to get out of the way and cause a bigger accident.

Ouch... sorry to hear that. I drive on that bridge all the time too :(

Driving around NYC is horrible in general. I found a ton of tar built up in the wheel well and I don't even have 500 miles on the car yet.

I'd recommend a clearbra for your bumpers if you ever want to park as well. I fear for my car every time I see someone parallel park next to her.

Man, my dad is a cable repair guy, he has some tools in the garage, we could probably fix that in an hour or two.
