Hyundai Trajet Gearbox Question

My trajet is from 2002 and have a bad gearbox. I have one gearbox from trajet but 2006 year and seems that my gear cables from my car are too short for the 2006 gearbox. what should i do? can i use the 2006 gearbox in my car even with some adjustments? any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Mazen, I bought a 2007 trajet and I really need the english owners manual bcz what came in the car is in korean. Could you please send me a soft copy of the Trajets Owner's Manual in English? I really need the English version!
