how do you take out the handle unit to replace it?

i read somewhere that you just take off this round black cover and unscrew one bolt, but on my coupe 2007 there isnt one

attached is image, how do i remove the handle, do i have to take the inside panel off (if yes how?)

Your question was whether anyone has tried gluing a door handle back together. You got no response. That probably means that nobody here has tried it. I think this is generally a very responsive forum (some people are too responsive sometimes), but sometimes no response can be considered to be a response.

ok another question is it possible to remove the outer door handle in such a way that you can actually resell it as a usable part?

i ask as it seems the metal rod that opens the door (not the lock one) cant simple be slided out the cliphole...the end of the rod is bigger than the rod diameter which sort of prevents it sliding back out.
