Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing a 2016 Tucson ECO or Sport and think I am sold on everything but the HVAC controls. From what I can tell, the car has the standard fan and warm/cold temperature knobs while the higher trims have control panel where set the temperature like a thermostat and the car maintains that temp. That's what I have now and would like to keep that feature. Does any know if that system could be transplanted into a lower trim model?

I was able to find it online here:
ebay.com/i/163629312417?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=163629312417&targetid=541454199012&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9008578&poi=&campaignid=1881946470&mkgroupid=74094014870&rlsatarget=pla-541454199012&abcId=1139336&merchantid=110381412&gclid=CjwKCAjw36DpBRAYEiwAmVVDMPdMmCh7XNACd08oKNuMiFvVZCTivdAOoTg5qfpK1_71dMEjUusRAhoCO1gQAvD_BwE

Also, what do you all think about the car, its not too much of a lemon is it? Any real reliability problems?

Hi, Honestly I am not sure of the HVAC question but unless you are getting a great deal, I personally would stay away from a used 2016 Tucson in my opinion. Although many did not experience any issues with their vehicle DCT transmission, I on the other hand had many issues and was urged by the dealer to unload my vehicle. I was told that the clutch system can experience burn out which I was not aware of amongst other issues. I suggest that you take a look through the forums for the 2016 Tucson and read for yourself the ongoing complaints. Again, while others will have no issues but many do, like myself. I would just be careful buying a used 2016 because you can be getting mine where I had nothing but issues. Good Luck!
