My Sonata is a 03. The hub is rusted to the backing plate, if I disconnect the parking brake line from the back plate, (after I remove the 4 bolts that hold on the hub) will I be able to slide the entire thing off to be able to get leverage to seperate the two pieces? Yes I will be replacing the hub assembly.

Yes, they can be separated. See below the parking brake assy - the drum brakes shoes are hold in place by those two spring-loaded nuts. Rotate them 90 degree and they come out. Hub mounts inside, bolted in the four holes.
The parking brake is NOT self-adjustable, at the end you will have to adjust it trough the drum hole that is covered with a rubber plug (the adjuster is the cylinder with star wheel in the right side of my picture).
