Hello, I have a 2008 GLS and my speakers don't work anymore except when I hit bumps or do really sharp turns. I can hear some white noise from the left door and when I give the door a little punch the speakers work for about 4-5 secs. I'm pretty sure some wiring in the door is messed up (had a car hit me in that door in 2009). Basically is there someone who can help me with the "how to" open the side panel of the door.

Sure you will need a phillips screwdriver and a trim removing tool or a flat screwdriver with something over the blade as not to gouge anything..

#1 remove screw from release handle. Remove screw from door center handle. Remove screw from end of door jamb on the latch side near the top.

#2 Wrap some tape or something to that effect around the blade of the flat screwdriver and slide in between the door panel and the door. Gentely pry until clips release and you can get some fingers and then you just pull .

#3 release the electric commectors from inside door and set aside.

$ install is the reverse of uninstall.

dont forget to remove the triangular cap inside the door at the mirror. it just pulls right off. all the steps above are correct, its pretty easy to remove. there are clips along the bottom and i believe up the sides, just start at the bottom and work your way up once you have the screws out.
