I used a plastic putty knife to get the edge pried up enough to then get 20lb test fishing line under it and remove the badge. Goo Gone (Citrus) did the rest of the work. Use a blow dryer to heat the badge first and it will come off very easily.

I changed the rear badge but not the hood ornament. I'm not sure the "Flying Lady" is legal without some type of springs for pedestrian safety. Also, I see it as a temptation to steal if it had a spring and could be easily broken off.

Silly, isn't it? 2500 pounds of steel, and they worry about an 8 oz. hood ornament...
