This has recently began occurring. It seems to get louder when I accelerate but completely goes away when I brake. Any ideas about what the culprit(s) could be?

almost certain to be the brake pad wear indicator telling you your brake pads are getting very low, get them checked out

ALRIGHT !!!!! A wear sensor that actually makes noise.....

Most of the time they come in here with nice grind noise when step on pedal...

If the noise goes away when the brakes are APPLIED, then it is not your brake wear indicators. I have had your problem before when a wheel bearing needed grease or is worn out. I don't know why the squeak completely goes away when appling the brakes,but it does.The more you accelerate,the louder the noise gets. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
