They aint that hard, 2 crews, lift lamp up, twist socket to drop socket/bulb, finish remove lamp..

Cut tail off socket with side cutters, install new bulb, assemble to lamp housing.. install lamp and re-install the 2 screws..

This pic is the last I got of the bulb replacement, battery went dead... in the pic, cut the tail off (the section with red X's)

Why do you cut that part off? Does it make it a lot easier to chang or somethin?

I did exactly as srb711 described...only problem is removing the light housing from the light socket to remove the housing from the deck. My fingers are just too big...had to have wifey do it while I held it up...(sounds kinky)

You cut off the 'fin' or 'tab' and insert into light housing and replace from above and then connect the wires & screws rather than try to re-assemble as you took it part.

Replacing the next time should be 100% easier..remove 2 screws, remove housing, replace bulb re-install.
