Has anyone tried to paint the hid bulbwith high temp spray paint to prevent glare? If yes how and where you painted on the bulb? Sides? Middle? Tip of the bulb. I need less glare on my hid fog lights.

solution to HID glare is projectors
That's a fact. This is something that should be done correctly. Otherwise you will just be throwing out light with no direction. It just blinds oncoming traffic. Although you will see a wider range of area, you won't see much better and you will probably get blinded by all the others on the road flicking their hi beams or/and their finger at you. iJDMtoy have a real easy set of projectors to install in your model Accent too.

Painting the bulbs will prevent glare, but not the way you think.

Paint will absorb lots of heat and transfer it into the glass until it melts (you won't have to wait long) and then the light will be burnt out and there you go, no more glare.

Seriously, do us all a favor and just get projector housings.
