Hi all,

I just bought two Zerostart Series 8000 Coolant Heaters from Canadian Tire. One is for my 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS and the other for my wifes 2000 Honda Accord SE. Has anyone here installed one before and have some tips on how to do it? I am trying it on my Sonata first. But not sure as what hose is what on the radiator, for example which hoses goes to the Zerostart unit.

Please help, pics and/or diagrams , even a video would be helpful.

Here is a picture of the units I bought.

The photo given is not/not that will fit a 2007 2.4L Sonata which have a dry port at the top left (gearbox side) - front engine block. The heater unit simply pushes in transversely. You will need to coat the unit (it's about long as a normal finger) with a special grease that helps transmit heat to block. I got mine from Canadian Tire.

Huh? I am not quite sure what you are saying. Are you saying the picture I provided of the Zerostart 8000 unit I bought also from Canadian Tire, it will not fit my car?
