Just got my 99 tibby having issue don't kno wha it is. When I'm driving it and hit it gas a little the rpms r going up but the mph doesn't move, then it accelerates. Kinda feel like it lags. Its hard to explain. Doesn't happen all the time. Dont kno if this would have anything to do wit it but the check engine light is on and wha came up was "P0441 evap emisson control system purge flow fault" new to hyundais so please any help. Thanks

You've already answered your own question. Purge valve is bad.

I had the same problem w/o the check engine light. clutch would work great when the system was freshly bled out but as soon as you got on it and shifted fast the clutch would slip like no other. I ended up replacing the slave and master cylinders.

Yeah I'm jus not used to it I drive an 07 civic picked this up so I don't run up the miles on it. Clutch feels a little higher up but my bro used to have a 97 elantra he said felt the same

Purge valve was replaced, does it a lot less often now. Any ideas?
