So, the other day i was driving my 02 sonata 4 cyl.I was accelerating around 45 mph. When it felt like my gas stopped pumping.after coasting for a couple seconds it stalled.First i thought oh great my fuel pumps dead.I got a tow home and cheched the pressure in the pump and it was fine.So i moved from there to check my ignition, maybe my coils went out.I check and was recieving no spark. So i said its time for a tune up anyway.I went bought new plugs wires and coils. Low and behold still no spark. So i got some advice from a friend who said probably crank sensor.I pulled off the timing cover and the belt was missing many teeth. So after a painstaking weekend of removing all the stuff of a side of the engine with no F_N room to fit your hands i finaly got the the new belt and sensor put on. The timing marks on the cams were aligned toward each other and crank sprocket at TDC and other pulley aligned. I put the motor mount back on and left everything else off just to see it start first.I still am getting no spark.Any suggestions. And if by my mistake the teeth moved off by one without me realizing, would it start an just run rough or not at all? Im pretty decent with cars but im getting frustated after spending the time and money on the parts i could have maybe brought it somewhere to be done proffessionally and still had time for myself. Please help even a firing diagram would be usefull.
Thanx
