I replaced the hood struts on my 2012 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L this morning and after finishing noticed this broken tubing so I'm trying to identify if it's an issue. There is no conductive wiring inside the tubing so it doesn't appear to be important??... But this this also why I'm really puzzled (why would this be in there if it's not needed).

Anybody know what this is?

Pull your window wash switch,,,, you wont have solvent on window,, as it'll run out end of hose and run all place

Re-assemble the tube from where you pulled it apart at

From the looks of it, washer fluid is released at the wipers
In order to fix, will need to take out the cowl at the base of the windshield to expose area
Find a convenient place where a hose can be attached.
There are Dorman help parts that can connect hoses
Ask your auto parts sales person for help finding this part.
