This site is a fantastic resource. I just took over my aging Mom’s low mileage 2000 accent. Naturally, the first thing I did was to top off the fuel after the pump clicked off. Most of you probably know what happened then. I just found a couple of good posts on the issue. It looks like this is a pain to fix, and it would have been nice if the owner’s manual had a bold warning in red letters and a skull and crossbones on the first page.
