Sorry, no manual.
And from what I know about changing heater cores, it can take quite a bit of time.
The part may not be too expensive but the labor is the what hurts.
On my Elantra, it was easy enough by cutting the metal connecting tubes
To get the heater core out
And putting the new core on with hoses with clamps to bridge the cuts
I can't find anything to help with the Getz
I’m recently new to this forum as I’ve had my Getz for close to a year now a 1.1 GSI 2004.
I was driving along the other day pulling off a dual carriageway and when I got to the top it went into gear fine and when I lifted the clutch pedal it didn’t move tried again and still nothing...
Not my first post here – I think that my registered email is now an old one and not in use.
So, random ABS light on our Getz.
Failed it’s MOT as the light didn’t go out! ABS system works though.
The light itself is totally random, it can flicker, be different brightnesses, when on the indicators...
the problem is occasional startup and no throttle response, smoke pouring out of exhaust, no power. turn it off for a few minutes and then all ok.
recently had it's MOT and all emissions within spec.
as it does short drives every day, I'm wondering if it has a sticky / gummed up EGR valve.
