Wife has a '10 SF Limited with all the bells and whistles. She is pretty sure that when she first got it, the automatic headlights would stay on for a minute or two after shutting off the engine, but now they don't. I don't know one way or the other, and can't find anything in the owner's manual.

Can anybody shed some light on this (pun intended) ?

Thanx!

Thanks. I was pretty sure that was the case, but She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed thought otherwise. :liebe011:

Hi,

Mine shuts off right away too. But that was actually something I would be interested in having. Having the lights turn on as soon as I unluck the doors, and turn off a few seconds later after I lock the car.

It's a practical as well as a saftey issue. When parking (or approaching your car to get in) in a street at night, it's nice to be seen, make people driving close by notice there's someone there.

Seems to me it would simply be a matter of re-programming the control chip accordingly. I'll ask next time I am at the dealship.

Did anyone else tried?
