Has anyone successfully swapped basic halogens out with the Limited trim LED headlights? I am wondering if they are a simple plug and play, rather than cutting and transplanting HID or LED bulbs.

I know this has been covered before, but here goes.

Be careful what you wish for.
You may get it.

I have the factory LED bulbs in my 2018 (LED Intelligent System: Light Bending). My 2015 has HID bulbs and I can see much better with my 2015 vice my 2018.

Knowing what I do about Light and Color temperatures, I know that the "white" of LED bulbs really has a lot of blue. The human eye is least sensitive to blue. (That is why they sell yellow night driving glasses, to filter out the blue). (Also why Fog Lights are yellow). Yes, LED bulbs are bright, but that don't mean you can see better. They are more noticeable when you see them coming toward you, but again, that don't mean you can see better at night.

In my case, in my 2018, the LED bulbs CANT BE REPLACED.
If they could, I'd replace them with Quartz Halogen (Quartz Iodine) bulbs. I also prefer seperate seperate High Besm and Low Beam bulbs and reflectors.

HID bulbs are too complicated as you need ballasts, etc.

Again, be careful what you wish for as you may get it.
