Well after about 3 months of peace and quite I have started hearing the dreaded whirring noise from the headlights. I have already had two new motors and was wondering if it really was worth taking it back if it just going to keep on doing it ? Has anyone had a noise free I10 recently ?

I asked about mine when it was in for its service 2 months ago and was told that they did not have a fix.
I then noticed the other day that I had not heard the noise since and thought hmmm whats going on here...
Tried to alter the angle of the lights to find that the motor has been disconected. cheeky gits will be getting a call.

When my i10 had its first service a few weeks back the dealer told me that Hyundai were manufacturing a modified headlight adjustment switch but had not released it for use. They said they had disconnected the switch and and will contact me when the part becomes available. However, the headlights are still whirring away and can be adjusted up and down. Ho hum!!

Took my I10 out yesterday and just for a moment there was the dreaded noise. It then stopped again. It does not bode well for the future if its starting to play up again after a couple of weeks.

My most recent switch lasted 3 days. They want the car in for 2 days this time. Can't imagine why.
