What you going to do about the constant MIL illumination due to no catalyst ? Unfortunately anything after 1996 has catalyst monitor.

In english, we have a sensor between exhaust valve and top of cat,,, then the cat element, and a sensor at the outlet of cat..

Sensor 1 toggles like crazy, sensor just ride along real lazy... catalyst is fine...

Remove the cat, now the bottom will toggle same as top, as if cat was no good,,, and we get MIL for cat efficiency.. that will also goof with your fuel trim numbers.

Yeah, on these headers I see an o2 bung before the cat.. But I don't see one right there at the exhaust where it starts. Probably would have to have someone cut a hole and weld one in place.
