I have a 2016 Limited Ultimate Sonata that just started having problems with the head unit. If I turn the car off for 20 mins or more, I have to reset it to power it back on by pushing the reset button. I dont have to hold it in 10 secs just about 2 to get it to power up.
Dealer blamed things from installing Android Auto 2 yrs ago wrong, which it wasnt to not using the right cable to connect the phone. Now he says he thinks its the display panel and has called it in to Hyundai to replace.

Has anyone else seen this problem or know what could be wrong. I dont think the dealer has a clue on this. Wish they would just replace the head unit and be done.

thanks

My wife's 2014 GPS unit would not light up after a year of use. Radio would work, just could not see the screen. Took a video of it, replaced under warranty.

If you are under the 50K 5 year warranty... get it replaced .. .period... Auto Android will not trash the head unit. It's just an App.
