Please can someone help? When trying to defrost my car this morning I started it, shut the door and started scraping. I didn't realise that my wipers were switched on. Think they were too snowed up to move and so the motor has burnt out. When I got in the car I smelled a really strong plasticy burning smell and then discovered the wipers were turned on but not working. Yes I am an absolute idiot :-(

I changed the fuse which was blown. The wipers came on for about a second and then cut off and blew the new fuse.

Any advice/comments would be gratefully received.

My boiler has packed up and now this! I am at the end of my tether...
