When I called they didn’t even give me that option. Said since we have a push button it’s bluelink or a 3rd party.

How does the remote affect key operation?

When car is started, I assume I need to use the remote fob to unlock and lock.

I've got a Compustar remote start in my Tucson... fob is similar to this.

I've got push to start also.

Any remote start installer will have a system for you to choose from.

The remote doesn’t affect the OEM key fob and once the vehicle has started you can lock/unlock with the OEM key fob or the remote start. Kinda sucks that we have to carry the key fob and the remote start but we can live with it.
