Brand new 2020 Santa Fe SEL AWD owner here .... Does anyone have an idea how to hang a trash bag? Is there a hook type of contraption perhaps? In my old accord I was able to "hang" it off the gear shift. TIA
I stuck a self-adhesive "Command" hook to the right-hand side of the console (on the vertical "wall" at the left side of the passenger compartment). I used it to hang a small automobile bag that I bought from Amazon -- I think it was recommended by someone in another thread on this forum. The bag comes in many different designs -- here's the one I chose. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5O2Q77/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Found a decent sized, good shaped one on Amazon that can be fixed behind the console. It works great in my A4 Audi. The only problem is that it can only be fixed by opening the console lid. The fixing strap is not long enough to be put around the console, but I can live with that as it's sturdy and stays into place.

zmspira I'm impressed with your attitude of retaining your trash unlike some turds that feel obliged to throw it out the window. Hope you can find just what you need.
