Got Beru glow plugs on order. When they arrive, is it an easy job? I'll warm the engine up first. But are the known for snapping off on the D4EA engine are are they usually ok? It's a 2005 model with only 40k on the clock.

Anyway, for info, they were dead easy. I even found a handy write up here (of the 3 cylinder variant, but still the same principal and same location of parts).
I got BERU and it was BERU that came out. It turned out 2 were dead when I tested them later - you could also tell by looking at them that 2 were dead because they were oily, whereas the 2 working ones were dry. I also did the tip of wrapping the 12v buzz bar in insulation tape to ensure it couldn't touch anything.
Once the EGR pipe was removed, access was really easy with just a 10mm deep socket. Didn't even require any angled sockets.
