Why not just use a voltmeter or test light to figure it out? Or just look at the wiring on the two coil connectors. There are two wires on each connector. One wire on each will be the same colour. The wire that is common to both connectors will be the +12V power supply wire, meaning the other wire is the negative coil control signal coming from the ECU.
Why do you want to limit the engine RPM? I would have thought you'd want all the RPM you could get out of an 1100cc Getz
