Hi ,

Yesterday I notice small amount of oil under my car , not thinking much of it I drove it to work and found it started surging at low revs. Today trying to investigate the source of the oil leak and the surging I found oil in my radiator and water reservoir but no water on my sump dipstick , the oil on the dip sticks is showing half full which is strange as it was serviced 2 weeks ago , which means somehow the sump oil is pushed into water cooling system .

The car starts and idles fine.

Anyone have any ideas ?

Regards

I'm not familiar with diesels, but since no other replies:-

A blown head gasket, leaky when hot? It needs a compression test.

Hi Guys.

I have a Getz D4FA diesel and it gets oil in the water system, I removed and replaced the head gasket twice and the problem is still there. I have no idea what it could be as i already did a vacuum test on the oil cooler. I need help. The oil presure in the water is so high that it causes the water pipes to burst after about 15km of driving. If any one could perhaps tell me what it could be other than the head gasket.
