I am driving a 2010 Genesis sedan and really enjoying it. However, it has a problem with the steering wheel positioning mechanism. It went back to the dealer today and I was told that the limit switch was defective and that the part is on back-order and it would be a month.
That's not a good mark for Hyundai. If the steering wheel is stuck in a dangerous position (does not clear your legs or you cannot see the instrument display) that's a looooong wait! Also, with more than one driver it can be a serious issue. I tried to "muscle" the position of the steering wheel but it won't budge.
Still loving the car, but this is a head-scratcher. Is Hyundai working too hard on the next level up (ALA THE EQUUS) before sorting out the Genesis?
