Hey all,

I've got a friend with the same car as me - a 2009 Accent hatch with stick. He's recently had his tach die on him and the easiest way to fix it is to replace the cluster with a used unit from a pick-and-pull yard.

All the Accents (and Rios, as their clusters are a direct swap to the Accent!) the yard has right now are automatics though.

Does anybody know if the clusters from the Automatic cars would work in a car with a stick without any glitches?

Cheers!

Have you tried your cluster in your friends car to confirm the dead tach is being caused by his cluster?

As far as I can see from the wiring schematics the auto cluster should work in a car with a stick. But the only way to know for sure is to suck it and see.
