I bought Hyundai i20 1.o TGDI 100hp one month and and I'm still not sure if I should be using 100 octane or 95 octane gasoline.
I'm currently using 100 octane, but I noticed in users manual it says I should be using 95/91 or higher.
I did read some articles about octane number and found out that it's better to use as high as possible for cars with turbo.
So I should use 100 octane for mine?

Not necessarily. Just stick what your manual says and you’ll do just fine.

I've done some extensive testing this last year and on a cold engine it definitely drives smoother on 98 RON. Since I only do short distances I will keep using 98 in the winter. As temperatures have rising above freezing again, I am back on 95 and don't see such a big difference. So I think I will use 95 in summer and 98 in winter, just to save a few bucks. If money is no concern, definitely drives better on 98
