Hi folks. We have a 01 Trajet 2.7l V6 and yesterday it just died and wouldn't start. I discovered that the EGR 15 amp fuse was blown and replacing it blew that one too. The OBD2 software couldn't communicate with the ECU so I'm assuming they are related. I thought I would put a multimeter on and measure the impedance to earth while unplugging the EGR but I cannot find the EGR. Searched online for ages.. read through the workshop manual. Can't see it anywhere. Can anyone help?

I don't think your engine has an EGR system which probably explains why your having a hard time finding info about it.

What I suggest is you check the wiring for the crank position sensor. It's pretty common for the insulation on the sensor wiring to become brittle from being exposed to the heat of the exhaust, which can cause a short that will blow the EGR fuse.....
