Ya thanks! Not sure exactly what was wrong. The old sensor looked fine, no fried wires. When I took it out and unhooked it the connection came apart and the metal clip came off on it’s own. Maybe it was not connected good. Also when I put the new sensor in it seemed to take longer to bolt into place so it is possible that the old sensor was not seated in all the way. I installed both the previous and the new one without taking the starter out so had limited visibility of the location.
