I have a 2007 Santa Fe and have been having issues with my fuel gauge sticking on empty and or floating and reading incorrectly. I have not had my check engine light pop on and it’s not giving me any codes. I’ve heard of the issues with The fuel gauge but am I supposed to have a check engine light on, and or codes as to what is the issue?
Thanks in advance.

There are NO codes for fuel gauge.
Really?

What about :
P0462 - Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input
P0463 - Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit High Input
P0464 - Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit Intermittent
P2067 - Fuel Level Sensor "B" Circuit Low Input
P2068 - Fuel Level Sensor "B" Circuit High Input
P2069 - Fuel Level Sensor "B" Circuit Intermittent

Today my check engine light came on so I checked it with my code reader and got 4 codes. P0463 twice, and p2068 twice. I know they are both high Circuits sensors. I can just change the sensors or need a whole new sending unit?

My reply did not come out right. Should have been. Just because there are no codes for the gauge don't mean it's not the sender.

Get a quote from the dealer for both left and right fuel level sender units part and labour. No diagnostic charge and make a appointment to change them.
