Just took delivery of a 2014 i20 "Nice little Shopping trolley".
the only problem I have is the inability to see the fuel display in the day time due to its being dim and no dash controls will alter it.
the local service department couldn't explain it at this moment.
Is this an inherent problem or am I missing something ?

Regards Frank.

I have tested a 2014 car this afternoon. I could see the display clearly. But i must say it was a cloudy day and its winter here.

To the left side of the steering wheel(to the right side if your steering wheel if on the right side of the car), do you have controls low on the panel, underneath vents, for ECO, EBC &..... instrument panel brightness?

Gday, Thanks for the answer
The dimmer control only works With the lights on , Does nothing with lights of.
Checked out the same model at the car yard this morning Same thing can't see the readout on a bright day, Hard to read on a cloudy day.
Regards frank
