Pardon if this has been discussed already (please point me to it if so)

I have an issue with my front windshield wipers. The driver side works fine but the passenger one doesn't work well. When the engine is on, it sort-of flops around. When the engine is off, I can grab the passenger arm and move it back and forth across the windshield. The nut at its base it exposed and turns with the arm.

Is this as easy as tightening that nut?

Thanks.

Yes it is likely as simple as that.......move the wiper arm down to the 'park' position with the wipers switched off and tighten the nut.

If you are very unlucky and this does not work then the wiper linkage has broken

BTW welcome to the forums :00000732:

Ok thanks. Apparently I am unlucky because I tightened it and got the same results. :(

Linkage kits recommendations?
