Re-install the brake rotor and stick a long screwdriver through the vent holes and position the screwdriver to block the rotation, or if you use a good impact gun holding it by hand works.
Front Wheel Hub Nut
how do i lock the front wheel to remove the hub nut......am replacing the tone ring,any other advice on that aswell(05 CRTD.ireland)

next time you have to do the job make sure you loosen the hub nut BEFORE you jack the vehicle up
