If your car has over 110k miles and it has never had the strut mounts replaced it would be more economical, parts and time wise, to use the Monroe quick strut and replace the entire assembly.
At that mileage you should be replacing the strut mount since that should be your 3rd set of struts, including the factory set, by then.
I don't like to run struts too far past the 55k mile mark, 60k tops.
