Hi

I have recently bought a new Hyundai Matrix and I like the car very much.
Unfortunately I have damaged my right frontspeaker and would like to put in a new set in the front.
From the factory there is no treble speakers in the door, but I see a sort of plastic blind whre the treble speaker should go. The hole is about 5 cm "equals 2 inches". The treble speakers I have seen in stores seems to be somewhat smaller.
Has anyone experience on how to change these and with what brand treble speakers?

The normal mid/bass speakers seems to be 6.5 inch in size, so I am not to worried about those.

Can anyone help???

HI MARTIN I PRESUME IS YOUR NAME.I WOULD LIKE TO HELP YOUR IN YOUR MENTIONED PROBLEM.YOUR FRONT SPEAKERS COULD BE REPLACED RATHER EASILY BY USE OF A COMPONENT SPEAKER SET.THE TWEETER OF THE COMPONENT SPEAKER SET CAN QUITE EASILY BE FITTED IN THE EMPTY RECESS OF THE FRONT DOORS OF THE CAR.I BELIEVE IT CAN BE DONE RATHER EASILY BY A CAR AUDIO INSTALLER BY USING MAYBE A DIY BRACKET OR SUCH.WELL I HOPE I WAS OF SOME HELP.CHAT WITH YOU LATER.WELL REGARDS.
