According to the specs, the hybrid has .9 inches less front legroom than the non-hybrid. However, the battery is very thin, tucked underneath the passenger seat, don't see how it could affect it. And I would assume the driver's side is exactly the same on both models.

Anyone sat in both and noticed any difference?

I've owned the non-Hybrid before, and the PHEV now. Where I think the legroom difference is in the seat behind the passenger seat. The floor is slightly higher due to the covers from the battery (it's a larger battery in the PHEV) but 0.9 inches is not a huge amount of difference. I'm 6 foot, and it doesn't really encroach on space available.
