what u guys think ? is it going to be the same as the previous sonata body style ? the 2005 sonata's with about 90k miles are selling for 6000 dollars! that's like 1/3 the price of what it cost new no ? wow this is a huge hit!

It's already been given the highest residual value for lease factoring. This is certainly a plus for anyone leasing!

I agree with NT2SHBBY. That's like saying the Ford Fusion is the best car with "initial Quality."

The car will follow the same depreciation schedule as the previous years. However it might perform a little better. After a quick run of the numbers on various car sites. Here is an average breakdown of the depreciation of the car. I took the base model and the limited model.

1st year depreciation = $5500 - $7000
2nd year = $1900 - $2500
3rd year = $2000 - $2300
4th year = $1600 - $2400

Of course car mileage and maintenence require will raise or lower the price of the car. This is based on a 12K miles annual put on the car with a clean record. You can use the sites NADA.com (which credit unions use to get the value of the car) or Edmunds.com.
