My new (used) 2005 Tucson has fog lights, but they remain on after I turn off the car. I have to turn the engine back on, fiddle with the lights (turning on and off repeatedly, etc.), and after about five tries the fog lights and dash lights turn off. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, the CD player is jammed or broken in some way -- it won't accept a CD. I have tried trouble shooting from manual but nothing works. Any ideas for more drastic measures?

Thanks!

The wife's '07 Tucson had a CD jammed in the player. The dealer fixed under the warranty. It seems I've seen something somewhere about using the hook on the end of a knitting needle to grab the center hole on a CD and coax it out of the player.

Not sure about the lights issue. Can you get somebody to disconnect the battery for about 15-20 minutes to see if that will reset something in the controls? Just shooting in the dark with that idea. Write down your radio presets first so you can put them back in.

Don't you just love modern technology? :whistling:
