I just got my Tucson last Saturday!
It's a Black on Black GLS AWD

Any Tucson driver in Socal Area?

Congrats, & good luck!
The black finish is so rich looking, but it needs more chrome or some contrasting colors, how can Hyundai let that happen? at least the Limited has a bit more chrome around the door handles, the grill, & just above it.

Yeah I do think all black is a bit boring. So I am looking into adding some chrome onto it.
While I don't want to over do it. I am planning to get some or all of these:

and I would really like to add side-step to my new baby!

although the seller confirmed that this won't fit 2011&2010 model, I am pretty sure it's just a matter of time before they make some side steps fit my 2011!

Good idea stomata,
Don't get me wrong, black is not boring, it is rich looking, one of my fav colors, but just needs some highlighting, I bet some detailing with red, orange, or red/orange pinstripng would really spice it up. Or a custom 2 tone paint job using a splash of these colors, would be outstanding. I wonder how a bright, stainless, or chrome grille would look? Actually I wish my grille was painted black, like the Limited, it would stand out better then my matching kiwi green grille just because it's a GLS. One more thing, after having a black Monte Carlo SS with red detailing for 10yrs, it's a lot of work to always keep it clean, but like a baby grand piano, or tuxedo, nothing looks better then!

the seller told me he can do 240 shipped for all four.
I am just wondering if it costs too much to just improve the appearance...

After evaluating the overall look of the vehicle, it is really sharp in black, as can be seen by the rear view which has the red tailights, reflectors, and some chrome. IMO, the only thing it really needs is to have a brighter colored grill. While surfing around on the net I found a Hyundai accessory store that had a stainless mesh grille available, this might do the trick!

Here, take a look:

Ah ha
when you said Chrome grilles I was thinking about the 2nd one you post.
I remember seeing that on ebay.
I am still figuring if I want to spend 200+ on those trims...
I just bought the tow Hitch and am trying to hunt down a set of side step rails that fit 2011.
I also found some Limited edition side mirrors

but I have no idea if gls can use the turning signals on these side mirrors

IMO, The only part of the Tucson that doesn't enhance it's lines is the black grille on a black car, it sort of looks invisible without chrome, If you got the bright grille, whatever one. I think it would make a world of difference, and I doubt you'd need the other extra chrome trim on the front end, I think it would look just as classy without them.

By the way, on my Kiwi green GLS I long for a black grille, instead of the ugly green bars :(
It will be done once I figure out the right, and inexpensive, way to do it, without messing things up. (I think it gives it more of a sporty look). Notice my avatar is a green Limited.

Good luck with the mirrors, I think they're cool, but don't know if there's factory prewiring in the doors to make them work? But, if you find out, let us know please, I might do this myself eventually.

Also, I thought one of the links I gave you had reasonable siderails available?
