My 2017 Elantra has been making a fast ticking sound from either the dash or engine. Taken it to dealer 5 times and had 2 actuators replaced. It only dose it when the heat is on or so I've noticed. I have 3 different aurdio recordings of it on 3 different dates. Filed complaint with Hyundai corporate and they thought it might be the engine. However, the dealer claims its normal so they are refusing to replace anymore parts. Filed complaint with the BBB and Hyundai still claims it's normal so headed to arbitration soon. It sounds like a tractor or jack hammer is inside my dashboard. I have only noticed it when I drive anywhere from 30-100 miles with the heat on 78-80. This was back from November to April. Now that it's summer and I'm using the A/C, I haven't heard it but I also haven't had the heat on. I'm at 48k miles so I may run out of warranty by winter. Any ideas what this might be?
