Grettings, my automatic transmission died the last week so I decided to buy an used one, but cheking the forums I see that in June 1999 Hyundai changed the main connector (from 4 prong to 6 prong). I want to know if there is a way to check the exact date of fabrication of my car for don´t buy the incorrect type of transmission.

The manufacturing date plate is on the driver's door.

Sorry, I forgot mention that I replaced the driver´s door because of a crash so I can´t to see that plate.

It should be on the driver's side B-pillar. Look at the bottom near the door sill and it should be on there.

Do you have a 1.8 or a 2.0 engine?

The label on the B-pillar only show the recomended tire pressure.

I have an 2.0 engine.
