Hi,

I have a 2003 Elantra with approx 77k miles. I changed the Engine oil 6 months back when my car had around 76k miles. The Hyundai Maintenance Guide suggests that oil change be done every 3000 miles. My question is that does the oil change need to be done considering the time passed since last oil change as well ? (For eg if last oil change was done 6 months back but miles havent crossed 3000.)
