Hi all.

I have slowly but surely gotten to the end of pulling my timing belt for replacement. I am a tinkerer by nature, so I only come to this forum at the end, when I have a question.

I have read the posts so far, and gained some useful information. The one thing that I am unsure about is how to remove the motor mount on the passenger side. I have taken the main mounting bolt, loosened the three bolts , but have not taken the bolts off the engine yet. How many bolts am I looking for, I see two. Once those are off, I assume I will be able to freely remove my belt.

Let me know about the motor mounts. Thanks!

I put a jack under the oil pan with a piece of plywood (as a "cushion") to support the engine. Then I pulled up on the power steering fluid reservoir so it can be moved slightly. My 01 2.5 V6 has 2 bolts and a nut on the engine end of that motor mount. After removing all bolts and that nut I just pulled the motor mount up and out.
