Hi All,
First time to this forum. Glad I found it. I replaced the battery on my 2009 Sonata this morning. It was the original battery. About two hours later I started my car again to go out and the engine light came on. The manual says its the emission light. Is there any coincidence between changing the battery and getting the emission light-something electrical? I've read some other posts about emission lights and didn't see anything about that. I'm going to get it into the shop this week but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on this. I only drove about 10 miles with the light on and everything seemed to be fine with my car. Thanks for any help!

Go to autozone or any other car parts store that offers to pull OBD codes, they will tell you the code and possible cause for free.
